Although we do not use alcohol to make our Garden Veggie Snacks® products, we cannot guarantee that alcohol is not used in the production of the natural flavors.
How many puffs are in a 1 oz serving of your Baked Garden VeggieTM/MC Puffs?
The serving size for Garden Veggie Snacks® Baked Corn Puffs is 28 g (1 oz), in accordance with food labeling regulations. We cannot guarantee the "piece count" due to the natural variation in the size of individual puffs.
Do Garden Veggie Snacks® products contain animal-derived ingredients?
We offer a variety of snack choices to meet your needs and those of your family. Some of our products, such as Zesty Ranch Veggie Straws, Cheddar Cheese Veggie Straws, and NEW Screamin' Hot Veggie Straws, contain dairy ingredients in the seasonings. Our products containing dairy are clearly identified in the allergen warning on the package, below the ingredient statement. If you have an allergy, we recommend reading the allergen statement before consuming.If an item can be considered vegan, the packaging will state "vegan.".

Do the color differences in the straws represent differences in ingredients?

We use one or more of these oils in our manufacturing process. The nutritional information (that is, fat and calories) remains the same regardless of which oil is used.

What type of salt is in Garden Veggie Snacks® Straws?
Our Garden VeggieTM/MC Sea Salt Straws are generally seasoned with sea salt. The Veggie Straws themselves are processed with non-iodized salt.
Are your products nut-free? Are they produced in a nut-free facility?
Although our products do not contain nut ingredients, we cannot guarantee that our facility is nut-free. Our manufacturing facilities follow rigorous allergen control programs and good manufacturing practices to avoid cross-contact with allergens.
What is the source of the beta-carotene? How is the beta-carotene in this product extracted?
The beta-carotene in Garden Veggie Snacks® Sweet Potato Veggie Straws is plant-derived.The process by which it is extracted is proprietary to our supplier.
Is the sugar in the veggie straws processed using bone char?
Bone char is not used.
Is the sugar bleached?
The sugar is not bleached.
Do you add titanium dioxide to your products?
No, we do not use titanium dioxide in our products.
Are all Garden Veggie Snacks® products fried or baked?
Our Garden Veggie Straws®, Garden VeggieTM/MC Chips, and Stacked Chips are fried.Our new Garden VeggieTM/MC Puffs are baked.
Is the sunflower oil used in your Ghost and Bat snacks refined?
Yes, the sunflower oil is refined.
Do you use pesticides in the processing of this product or any of its ingredients?
The ingredients in our Garden Veggie Snacks® products come from conventionally grown crops. We require our suppliers to ensure that any pesticide or herbicide residue is below the limits allowed by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations.
